An event that effects my life? I don't know but I think that the summer trip to USA last year that effects me until now. I was 13 when I went to the trip, I had to take care myself because my parents weren't there. I had to speak English all the time, because nobody knows how to speak Vietnamese, it was hard at the first time because English is not my mother tongue but I soon got used to it. My friends and I had to do laundry ourself, walked to school , things that we haven't done before. We had lots of fun though, we traveled to eveywhere, every weekend, we went to some fun places like Disneyland, Hard Rock Cafe......it was so fun, we felt a little happy because our parents weren't there so we could do everything we want ^^. The thing i like best was the food, i love food there!!!!! but they are really fat T____T . We lived in dorm of the university at Long Beach. We often went to beaches when we had free time. We went shopping and bought stuff. It was totally fun but we didn't have much time, we just stayed in USA for six weeks, it was a short time. I think an American trip is the best moment in my life and it also effects me a lot, makes me become more confident.

Another week has past. I've studied in AIS for two weeks. Eveything was fine, still has lots of homework to do haha. We had a debate on Tuesday and Wednesday at Mr.Randy class and we won!!!!!! Team Art won!!!!! It's was so fun, everybody was so exciting and sometimes I gave a silly answer and everyone laughed a lot haha. Our next activity is gonna be MC Battle that we have to find our own beat and write a lyic and rap in front of the whole class. We still have two teams to compete. Our topic is why should you go to study at AIS. I'm a little bit nervous because i don'n know how to rap. On Friday, we have a reading test at Mr.Frank class, I'm not sure that I did it all correct because my reading skill is not very good.

My name is Lexie and I have just came to AIS ( America International School). I've just studied in here for one week but it was really fun and exciting, I have lots of new friends, they are really friendly and nice ^^. I've been teaching by lots of good teachers, they are all kind and always anwser all of my questions, help me understand my lessons clearly. I have no time for parties or fun stuff because I have lots of homeworks to do but these homework make me improve my English skills so I enjoy doing them. We have to study really hard but we didn't get bored because all the lessons have lots of activities like we have to debate about graffiti, is it crime or art?. We have to find information in the Internet, pictures, videos. It helps us improve our speaking skill. Or we have to make our own blogs and we have to write two entries everyweek, it improves our writing skill. To improve our reading skills, we have to read the information on the card and choose the best anwser. We also do dictation everyday to improve listening skill and we spend five minutes to do the speed writing. Those are all of the interesting activities that we have to do when we go to school. At the first day, everything seemed hard to me but after few days, I get used to it and started to feel exciting and enoyable. So with me, last week was the time for me so start something new , something better. I feel so great that I have a change to be here.

There was a German man who threw his computer out of the window in the middle of the night.

He was let off the aparment by police for waking people up by the noise. They asked him for the reason why he did that, why he disturbed people in the middle of the night. He gave them a simple answer that he was angry with the computer and he just simply threw it away. The police sympathized with him because one of them said that everyone could fell doing like that. While waiting for any offical sanction, the man had to clean up the big mess that he made.
